Foreword

Obtaining your goal, reaching your destiny, understanding your purpose in life and even living your dream, evades masses of people today as they seek significance in this life.  They shoot for the stars and wind up simply clinging to the moon.  So many wind up living lives of mediocrity and barter with their life opportunities with a “just enough” mentality, and never maximize their full potential.  So many people are trapped in a system and mindset of competing for the moment and forget that it’s competing for the future that really matters. Yes, a good man does leave an inheritance to his children’s children.

Grayson Marshall, Jr. has shared his heart and his life’s story in this gripping autobiographical essay he calls “Dad’s Unfinished Business.”  His story will help those who may be missing the mark and those who feel incomplete in life. Not only am I blessed to read of the things in this book, but I have been fortunate enough to see these things manifest in the life of one of God’s great young freedom fighters in Grayson “Little Gray” Marshall, Jr.  Who has risen from the ashes of homelessness and despair to a successful entrepreneur and marketplace minister.  I am blessed to be even mentioned as one of the keys to helping him come to realize his God given purpose in life.  I believe that he has been chosen to “assist” others in moving from working faithfully in their fields of employment to “owning the farm”.

What motivates you? Who motivates you? Who’s in your ear and who’s being used by the enemy to keep you where you are?  This book will help you answer those questions and will give you some spiritual insight into the real war that we all face.  It’s a war against systemic poverty and slave mentalities that are not flesh and blood but generational bondages passed down ignorantly and in unbelief.  You will see how the transforming and the renewing of your mind can move you from existing to reigning.
